As instructed by the Finnish government and Pirkanmaa's regional pandemic control group, Tampere Vocational College Tredu will start distance learning and teaching on Monday the 8th of March 2021 to limit the spreading of coronavirus. The distance learning arrangements will last three weeks until the 28th of March 2021.

The distance learning period applies to all upper secondary school students, along with those aged over 16 in vocational education, as well as students in grades from 7 to 9.

Information and instructions about the practical arrangements of the three-week distance learning period of each office location in Tredu will be provided by the students’ own teacher (OMA-opettaja). We urge all students and guardians to pay attention to incoming Wilma messages.

Students with special needs or with limited Finnish language or digital skills continue normally in contact learning. Basic education students in distance learning are entitled to food allowance for the three-week period. More instructions on the matter will follow.

As well as during the last distance learning periods, studying at home requires flexibility, independent initiative and responsibility. Distance learning is the necessary precaution to prevent the coronavirus from spreading further.

More information from the student’s own teachers (OMA-opettaja) and Tredu’s Directors of Education:
