Who We Are

We are Tampere Vocational College Tredu – the most popular secondary level college in the Pirkanmaa region. With 13 campuses in the area, 1200 employees and operating under the City of Tampere, we are proud to be the second largest vocational college in Finland.

Every year, approximately 17 000 young and adult students study at Tredu. Our campuses are located all around the Tampere city area, as well as in the surrounding municipalities of Nokia, Virrat, Ylöjärvi, Kangasala, Lempäälä and Orivesi. We are happy to offer our students multiple study locations within this lively region – and additionally all over Finland!

We offer flexible and individual study paths to a Basic Vocational Qualification, Further Qualification and Specialist Qualification – within almost any vocational field in Finland and always with close cooperation with working life.

We also provide services and studies for immigrants. Although most of our courses are taught in Finnish, we also have excellent English Degree Programs for you to choose from.

Our tailored vocational education solutions meet the various competence development needs of international organizations, companies or other clients. Additionally, Tredu is an active partner in international projects and networks. With a proven quality in organising VET mobility for students and staff, Tredu has been accredited as a holder of Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter again for 2021-2027.
