At Tredu we offer a diverse range of study options for immigrants.

We support our students in improving their basic study skills, as well as with gaining access to vocational studies. At the same time the students will become familiar with the Finnish study and work culture. Read more about the different study options below!

Complete Your Basic Education in Finnish

Basic Education for Adults studies are suitable for those who wish to learn the Finnish language, as well as study the core primary/secondary school subjects such as mathematics and English.

You do not need any previous training to enter the studies.

National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI test)

Need a certificate to proof your language skills? With an YKI-test you may get a written certificate needed for citizenship application as well as for a work or study placement.

The Guidance and Application Day

In the Guidance and Application Day you receive help with choosing the right course and applying for Basic Education for Adults and Finnish Language and Culture studies. Language assistance will be available at the event.

Location: Tredu Santalahti campus, Santalahdentie 10 (entry from the Pirkankatu side through the iron gate and the courtyard).

Date: 10th of April, between 9 and 12 o’clock.

If possible, bring with you:

  • Valid identification documents
  • Previous school and/or work certificates
  • Previous certificate of Finnish studies
  • Integration plan
