Tredu Will Host the Network of Networks Annual Meeting

Networks and internationalization are important matters for Tredu. A good network is one where actions are taken – the actors shape the networks to their image. Participating in international activities and networks develops the language skills of Tredu’s staff.

Over the years, Tredu has been visited by a significant number of international experts, and many exchange students have also arrived here. In November 2024, Tredu will host the Network of Networks annual meeting for three days in Tampere. More information of this important event will be shared later.

The Finnish network (Finn-Net), which consists of Tredu, Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia, Salpaus Further Education and Vantaa Vocational College Varia, has been collaborating with other European networks for years.

The activities have been practical and have taken the form of staff exchanges, development projects, working groups and, of course, student exchanges. The cooperation has been based on a win-win principle.

Tredu’s Director, Kirsi Viskari, signed the Network of Networks cooperation agreement in April 2022. However, the network has been in operation for more than 20 years and networking has also been developed through various projects. The network also set an example at EU level by implementing a project to develop networking in vocational education and training (Erasmus+ KA3) between five different networks in 2019-2022.

Work is now continuing in various working groups. Staff exchanges take place in different areas and themes, individual student exchanges have been complemented by shorter small group exchanges and virtual cooperation in all its forms.

Join us in networking and developing Tredu – Network of Networks is expanding all the time!
